Sony Bravia Theatre System 6 HT-S60, 5.1ch 1000W Soundbar, Rear Speakers & Subwoofer
Sony Bravia Theatre System 6 (HT-S60)
The Sony Bravia Theatre System 6 is a 1000W 5.1 channel home cinema set for film fans and sports viewers who want real surround sound from their TV. It pairs a slim soundbar with two rear speakers, a subwoofer and a control box, decoding Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Explosions land with weight, crowd noise moves around the room, and dialogue stops getting buried.
Physical Rear Speakers, Not Bounced Sound
Single-bar setups try to imitate surround by bouncing audio off walls, which falls apart in irregular rooms. Theatre System 6 puts genuine rear speakers behind you and a dedicated subwoofer on the floor, with S-Force PRO Front Surround and the Vertical Surround Engine adding height. An AI up-mixer gives stereo sources the 5.1 treatment, and DSEE upscales music closer to the original recording. Connection runs over HDMI eARC or digital optical, plus Bluetooth 5.3 for phones and laptops, while Multi Stereo Party Mode feeds equal output to every speaker.
Cinema Features Worth Knowing
- 1000W total output: enough scale for film nights, match days and music played loud across a family living room.
- Dolby Atmos and DTS:X: alongside Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus decoding for streaming services, discs and consoles.
- Bravia TV pairing: with a compatible Bravia TV, Voice Zoom 3 sharpens speech and one remote controls the whole system.
- Bravia Connect app: adjust settings and control the system directly from your smartphone without hunting for the remote.

Place the rear speakers behind the sofa and every flyover, goal and thunderclap moves around the room instead of sitting under the screen. When friends come round for a party, stream a playlist over Bluetooth and let all five speakers share the music evenly.

FAQs
Q: Will dialogue be clearer than my TV speakers?
A: Sound is spread across a dedicated 5.1 soundbar, two rear speakers and a subwoofer, which gives voices more room than thin built-in TV speakers. Pairing with a compatible Bravia TV also unlocks AI-powered Voice Zoom 3 for sharper speech.
Q: How does it connect to my television?
A: Use the HDMI eARC port for the fullest format support, or the SPDIF digital optical input on older sets. Bluetooth 5.3 streams from smartphones, tablets and laptops, and the Bravia Connect app handles control from your phone.
Q: How long will delivery take?
A: Your Theatre System 6 is packed and sent by rapid mainland delivery from Tech Accessories Store, and a tracking link is emailed as soon as it leaves us so you can be home to take the boxes in.
